Configuring client authentication servers
This section provides instructions for deploying authentication servers used by Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway in order to authenticate users. Forefront TMG can authenticate clients using a number of different authentication methods, and it can also authenticate against different types of authentication servers.
Forefront TMG supports the following types of authentication servers:
- Active Directory Domain Services
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol server
- Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service server
- RSA SecurID
