NPS Reason Codes

Applies To: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2

When Network Policy Server (NPS) writes an event to either the security or system event log, the event can contain a reason code. Reason codes provide specific information about the cause for the event being written to the log. The following sections provide information about NPS reason codes.
