Visual Studio 2005 Tools

During installation of the Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) Software Development Kit (SDK), the add-in tools are installed on the local machine. A file named MpsDevelopmentTools.AddIn will be deployed to the folder My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Addins. If more than one user on a machine will need access to the Add-in features in Visual Studio 2005, this file will need to be copied to the same location on their profile as well.

After installation of the SDK, open Visual Studio 2005 and click the Tools menu. There should be a new menu item with the text: Show All MPS SDK Tools. In the case that this menu item does not show up, from the Tools menu, point to Add-in Manager, and then click the MPS Development Tools and Startup check box. At this point, the tools should open up on the Visual Studio 2005 screen, ready to be anchored somewhere.
