Add a user

To add a user, enter the information that you want to include for the user, as described in the following procedure.

User ID and Display name are both required fields.

To add a user to the Planning Server system

  1. On the Users page, click Add. The Add a User dialog box opens.

  2. In the User ID box, type the user ID of the user in the pattern of domain\user name. Do not use localhost as the domain name. Always use the explicit computer or domain name.

  3. In the Display name box, specify how you want the name of the user to appear.

  4. (Optional) In the E-mail box, type the e-mail address of the user. This address is used for assignment notifications.

  5. Click Add.
