Removing a Certificate from the List of Known Certificates

The following procedure describes how to remove a certificate from the list of known certificates. A certificate that has been removed from this list cannot be installed on or removed from a managed Windows Mobile device.

To remove a certificate from the list of known certificates

  1. In the Group Policy Management Console, expand Group Policy Objects and locate the target GPO.

  2. Right-click the GPO and then select Edit.

  3. In the Group Policy Object Editor, expand Computer Configuration/Windows Mobile.

  4. Select Certificates.

  5. In the details pane, right-click the certificate you want to remove, and then select Remove from This List.

  6. In the dialog box, choose Yes to confirm that you want to remove the certificate from the list.

  7. In the details pane, verify that the certificate has been removed from the list.
