Monitoring the IAG event viewer

Using the event logs in the Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 Web Monitor Event Viewer window, you can view system, session, security, and application events and gather information about user and system activities. The Event Viewer window presents you with a constantly updating snapshot of recent events that occurred in IAG you are monitoring. By default the window refreshes data every 15 seconds. Monitoring events in Web Monitor

Monitor events as follows:

To monitor IAG events in Web Monitor

  1. Open Web Monitor.

  2. To view all events in the Event Viewer group, click All.

  3. To view events that belong to a specific category, in the Event Viewer group, select the specific category.

  4. In the list of displayed events, click the event ID for more information about messages with a severity of Warning or Error.
