Applying endpoint policies for an IAG session

Applies To: Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG)

You assign a Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 endpoint policy to a client endpoint session with an IAG site in order to specify access permissions for the session. Only endpoints that comply with the policy can connect to the portal. In addition, you can configure a privileged endpoint policy that defines conditions that render an endpoint as "privileged".

In addition, you can define the conditions under which the IAG Socket Forwarding component is installed on endpoint computers. The Socket Forwarding component is used when you want to publish applications that use the SSL Wrapper. For more information, see About the IAG SSL Wrapper component.
