Modifying IAG network and server settings

Applies To: Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG)

Following installation of Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 you configure network and server settings using the Getting Started Wizard, and specify an encryption passphrase for the Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 server. For instructions, see Configuring IAG network and server settings.

After the initial configuration, you can modify existing settings and configure additional settings as follows:

  • Modify network adapter settings.

  • Modify server settings by using the Getting Started Wizard.

  • Optionally, before publishing applications you can pre-configure IP addresses and ports for IAG networks, pre-configure HTTP and HTTPS settings, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption settings, and default Internet Information Services (IIS) ports.

  • Modify the encryption keys and passwords. The first time you access either the Configuration program or the Service Policy Manager, you are required to create an encryption key and passphrase for the IAG server. You can subsequently change this passphrase if required. In addition, the first time you access Service Policy Manager you create a password. You can subsequently modify this password if required.
