Customizing Outlook Web Access logon pages in IAG

The Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access logon page provided by Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 can be customized by offering any combination of the following options:

  • The Outlook Web Access Premium version or the Outlook Web Access Light version

  • The private computer option or the public or shared computer option

Customizing the logon page

Customize the logon page as follows:

To customize the Outlook Web Access logon page

  1. Copy and paste the files specified in the table below from the From folder to the To folder. These files are described in the table below.

  2. Rename the site_secure_PostPostValidate.inc file (in the To folder) according to the portal configuration. For example, for a portal named MyPortal, rename the file as follows:

    myportal1PostPostValidate.inc

  3. Create a CustomUpdate folder as follows:

    e-Gap\von\conf\WebSites\Trunk_name\Conf\CustomUpdate

  4. Copy the following file from the e-Gap\von\InternalSite\samples\OWA folder into the CustomUpdate folder that you created in step 3:

    WhlFiltAppWrap_HTTPS.xml

    Note

    If you are configuring an HTTP trunk, rename the file as follows: WhlFiltAppWrap_HTTP.xml

  5. On the Authentication tab in Advanced Trunk Configuration, configure the Login Page to the following:

    CustomUpdate/Login.asp.

  6. On the toolbar of the Configuration console, click the Activate configuration icon, and then on the Activate Configuration dialog box, click Activate.
