Application-Specific Settings

In order for end-users to access the FTP (Passive Mode) application through Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 from a remote client endpoint, the browser has to be configured to use Passive FTP mode.

To enable Passive FTP mode in Internet Explorer 7.0

  1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.

  2. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Browsing section, and then select Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL model compatibility).
