Configuring IAG event logging
Applies To: Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG)
By default, no configuration is required for event logging, and IAG-related events are logged and reported in the Windows event log with no user intervention. However, there are a number of event logging options you can configure, including the following:
Customize log limits. For more information, see Configuring IAG log limits.
Log events to alternative reporting servers instead of the IAG built-in reporter, including the following:
Logging to a Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) accounting server running remotely or a RADIUS accounting server installed on the IAG server. For more information, see Logging IAG events to a RADIUS server.
Logging to a remote Syslog server. For more information, see Logging IAG events to a Syslog server.
Reporting with e-mail messaging using a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server. For more information, see Logging IAG events to an SMTP server.
Enable logging of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections to the Windows event viewer. For more information, see Logging IAG SSL events.
Customize IAG event logging messages in a message definitions file. For more information, see Customizing IAG event messages.
Disable event logging for troubleshooting purposes. For more information, see Disabling IAG event logging.
Specify how log files should be cleaned up. For more information, see Cleaning up IAG log files.
Query events logged by the IAG built-in reporter. For more information, see Querying IAG events.
