Applies To: Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG)

This topic describes how to configure general Web site settings for a Whale Communications Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 portal.

To configure portal Web site settings

  1. In the IAG Configuration console, click the portal trunk.

  2. In Application Access Portal, in Public Hostname, specify the name by which client endpoints reach the portal Web site. The host name must contain at least two periods. If client endpoints making portal requests access a computer other than the IAG server (such as a load-balancer), in Port, specify the port number of that computer.

  3. In External Website, in IP Address, specify the external portal address. In HTTP port or HTTPS port specify the IP address of the portal site.

  4. Next to Advanced Trunk Configuration, click Configure.

  5. In the Advanced Trunk Configuration dialog box, click the Session tab.

  6. In Error Message URL, specify the URL containing error messages displayed when client endpoints do not access the portal successfully.
