Test and troubleshoot voice mail in Exchange Server

After you install the Client Access and Mailbox servers in your organization, you may have to test the functionality of Unified Messaging (UM). The following are situations in which you'll use the diagnostic tools and cmdlets included with Exchange 2013 or the UM Troubleshooting Tool:

  • Troubleshooting errors and events.

  • Testing the Client Access and Mailbox servers to make sure that the UM services are available and running.
