Configure CDR Logging

When you deploy Monitoring Server, if you would like to collect Call Detail Recordings (CDRs) you must enable the Active Directory forest for CDR collection. You need to do this only once for each forest, when the first Monitoring Server for that forest is deployed.

To enable the forest for CDR collection

  1. Log on as a member of the RTCUniversalUserAdmins group to a server that has the Communications Server tools and that is located in the same forest as the Monitoring Server.

  2. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Administrative Tools, and then click Office Communications Server 2007 R2.

  3. In the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 snap-in, right-click the Forest node, point to Properties, and then click Global Properties.

  4. Click the Call Detail Records tab.

  5. Select the check boxes for each type of communication that you would like to collect CDRs on, and then click OK.
