Memory Based Provider Dialog Box
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista
The host name affinity feature lets you forward requests with the same host name to the same servers in a shared hosting environment.
There are two host name affinity providers available for Application Request Routing (ARR) to use in a shared hosting environment. Microsoft.Web.Arr.HostNameRoundRobin is used to allocate host names evenly. Microsoft.Web.Arr.HostNameMemory uses memory calculations to identify where to allocate host names.
