Back Up and Uninstall the Catalog Web Service Application Files

In this step, the catalog Web service must be deleted so that the Commerce Server 2007 catalog Web service can be installed. Follow these steps to delete the catalog Web service.

To back up and uninstall the catalog Web service application files

  1. Locate C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\, and copy the CatalogWebService folder to another location, such as a different computer.

  2. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

  3. In the Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager, locate [local computer] | Web Sites | Default Web Site | CatalogWebService.

  4. Right-click CatalogWebService and select Delete.

  5. Locate C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ and delete the CatalogWebService folder.
