How to Start the Staging Service

This topic provides instructions about how to start the staging service. Typically, the staging service starts automatically when the server starts. If the service does not start, or it stopped for some reason, follow these steps to start the staging service.

To start the staging service

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In the Commerce Server Staging console, in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, right-click <server name>, point to All Tasks, and then click Start Service.

  3. In the Start Service dialog box informing you that the service started successfully, click OK.
