Site Connections Dialog Box, Connection Settings Tab

Use the Site Connections dialog box, Connection Settings tab, to create a new site connection.

Name

Type a name for the site connection.

Catalog Web Service

Type the path of the Catalog Web Service server. By default, Commerce Server 2009 uses the name of the computer that you are logged on to. You must specify the server name that you want to use. If you do not know the server name, contact your system administrator.

Orders Web Service

Type the path of the Orders Web Service server. By default, Commerce Server 2009 uses the name of the computer that you are logged on to. You must specify the server name that you want to use. If you do not know the server name, contact your system administrator.

Connections to the Orders Web Service require an encrypted channel (https).

This box only appears if you are making a new connection to the Customer and Orders Manager.

Profile Web Service

Type the path of the Profile Web Service server. By default, Commerce Server 2009 uses the name of the computer that you are logged on to. You must specify the server name that you want to use. If you do not know the server name, contact your system administrator.
