Edit an FTP authorization rule when you want to change users, roles, or permissions.

Editing a configuration setting changes the setting at the local level and for any child levels that inherit the setting.

  1. Open IIS Manager.

  2. In Features View, double-click FTP Authorization Rules.

  3. Select the FTP authorization rule you want to edit and then click Edit in the Actions pane.

  4. In the Edit AllowAuthorization Rule or Edit Deny Authorization Rule dialog box, change one or more of the settings and click OK.
