How Health Rolls Up
Applies To: Operations Manager 2007
The Windows Client Management Pack views the operating system as a hierarchy, in which each level depends on the objects at the next lower level in order to be healthy. The health state from a lower-level object rolls up the hierarchy to the computer. The following diagram shows this view for Windows 7 client computers. The hierarchy for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 client computers is exactly the same, except for the part of the element name that identifies the client.
