Troubleshooting Tools for Enterprise Voice

Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 will reach end of support on January 9, 2018. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.

The topics in this section describe the tools that are available for troubleshooting Enterprise Voice issues.

A variety of logging and diagnostic tools are available to help you troubleshoot Enterprise Voice issues. Some tools are available with Office Communications Server 2007 R2, and some are available separately. The following table summarizes these tools and provides links to topics that describe how to use them in more detail.

Note

Some of the tools that are described in this section require separate installation. We recommend that you determine the tools that you want to use for troubleshooting early in your deployment, and that you install the tools as soon as possible after you have deployed Office Communications Server.
