Resolve

Change property after taking turning off virtual machine

You cannot change some NIC properties while the virtual machine is on. Turn Off the virtual machine and then change the property. 

Note: Turning off a virtual machine is equivalent to powering off a computer, so data loss is possible.

Verify

The virtual machine starts and runs network operations without any problems.
