Scenario 3 – DCS Services Grouped and Installed on Separate Servers
In this scenario, you divide the DCS services and corresponding databases into groups, and then install each group on a designated server. You then install the client application on a separate computer.

Scenario 3 deployment topology
To install DCS SP1 in a scenario 3 configuration, configure two server computers as follows:
On Server A, follow the installation instructions described in Performing a Clean DCS SP1 Installation.. On the Custom Setup page, select the items shown in following figure(Discovery Service, Business Log Database, and Management Service), and clear all other choices. Complete the remaining installation steps.

Scenario 3 – Custom Setup page for Server A
On Server B, follow the installation instructions described in Performing a Clean DCS SP1 Installation. On the Custom Setup page, select the items shown in the above figure (Policy Store, Security Token Service, and Application Management Service), and clear all other choices. Complete the remaining installation steps.
