Creating DemoAdmin and DemoAgent Accounts

CCF creates the account DemoAgent1 during installation. Admin Console displays these accounts, but they are not functional until you add them to the Active Directory and to the appropriate groups.

To add these users use the following procedure:

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, then Administrative Tools, and click Active Directory Users and Computers.
  2. Expand the <CCFFQDN> node and select the Users object in the tree view.
  3. On the tool bar, click the Create new user icon (Single Person Icon Dd632539.fec8d07b-3bfe-4d66-97d3-48ff064aecbd(en-us,TechNet.10).png).
  4. Enter the first name and the logon name as DemoAgent1 then click Next. The logon name is not case sensitive.
  5. Enter the password and select the Password never expires check box. Ensure that you enter a password that meets the standard. You will be prompted for the choice. Click Next.
  6. Click Finish.
  7. In the right pane, double-click DemoAgent1 to open the Properties window.
  8. Click the Members Of tab.
  9. Click Add
  10. In the textbox type CCFUsers and click Check Names.
  11. Click OK to add the user to the CCFUsers group.
  12. Close the Active Directory Users and Computers window.
