Configuring IIS for CCF Deployment

Machine: <IISSvr>. You may name this as you wish, by replacing <IISSvr> with your machine’s name throughout this document.

Login User: Domain administrator

To configure IIS for CCF Deployment:

  1. Install Windows 2003 Server or Windows 2008 and the latest service pack and join the <DomainName> domain. Ensure you install IIS 6.0 or 7.0 and allow ASP.NET 2.0 web extensions. CCF is built around .NET 3.0 but that framework requires .NET 2.0.
  2. Install SQL 2008 client, i.e. Client Components option. (This is needed to connect to the <SQLSvr>.)
  3. Install the Microsoft Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO). This tool is part of BizTalk Server or Hosted Integration Server. If you have either one of these products, you do not need to install the version that is supplied with CCF. This component is required if you intend to use Auto Sign On.
