Configuring the CTI Hosted Control

This section describes how to use the Admin Console to configure the CTI hosted control.

To configure the CTI hosted control

  1. Open the Admin Console.
  2. In the left pane, expand the root node CCF, and then click Hosted Application.
  3. Right-click the List View pane, and then click New Hosted Application. The Add New Hosted Application Wizard starts.
  4. On the welcome screen, click Next.
  5. Type CTI as the Name of the hosted application.
  6. For the Type of the hosted application, select Windows Control from the drop-down list.
  7. Click the Build button to build the initialization string. The Build Application Initialization String window appears.
  8. In the URL text box, type the file path to the Microsoft.Ccf.Csr.CtiHostedControl.dll.
  9. In the Type text box, type Microsoft.Ccf.Csr.CtiHostedControl.CtiHostedControl.
  10. In the DisplayGroup text box, type hiddenPanel.
  11. Select Not Isolated from the Isolation Level drop-down list.
  12. Select the Application is global check box, and then click OK.
  13. Clear the Requires Auto Sign-On and Disable Application check boxes, and then click Next.
  14. Click Add to add an action. The Action window appears.
  15. Type default as the action name.
  16. Click OK on the Action window.
  17. Click Apply, and then click OK.
  18. Click Finish.
