Assigning Skills

This procedure allows the administrator to change the assignment of skills to agents.

To assign skills to agents, use the following steps:

  1. In the Admin Console, expand the root node *<machineName>*in the left-hand tree pane.

  2. Click the Skills Node.

  3. Click the desired skill or use the search function (right-click the list view area) to locate the skills that are to be modified.

  4. Specify the Name of the skill in the search window. All skills matching that name will be listed in the List View pane.

  5. Right-click the desired skill name in the List View pane and click Properties.

  6. The skill will show in the Skill tab of the Properties window. Click on the Agents tab.

  7. The agents are displayed in the Agents tab as shown below. These pages contain the same screens, which appear in the Creating a new skill wizard.

  8. The CCF Administrator can assign or remove skills from agents. Click on the desired agents and click the > or the < button depending upon whether adding or removing the agent.

  9. Click OK to save the changes and close the properties window.
