Distributed architecture
A CCF Role can be distributed if there is no latency impact with the data layer. For example, in a scenario such as Branch Office you can distribute roles such as:
- Discovery
- Some application services and related policy services
- Auditing
- Logging
To avoid latency or Network related issues, the distributed scenario require a local storage and related replication strategy in the Data Center. In a distributed mode, the CCF client can also leverage cache policies to cache the responses coming from application services.
