  1. Locate the file aspnet.config. This file is typically found in the following locations:

    • For 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003: %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727

    • For 32-bit versions of Windows Server 2003: %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

  2. Using Notepad or another text editor, change the value of legacyImpersonationPolicy parameter to False (the default is True).
