Scanning specific mailboxes for malware on-demand

The Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server (FPE) on-demand scan enables you to immediately scan specific mailboxes in order to assess malware concerns as they arise. For example, in a virus outbreak scenario, you can immediately scan just a few specific mailboxes that you suspect may be compromised by the threat.
Note
Scanning public folders is not supported by the on-demand scan. Also, if you are using FPE with Exchange Server 2010, a Client Access Server (CAS) is required.
