To check e-mail messages from a remote computer by using Outlook Web Access

  1. On the remote computer, open an Internet browser, such as Internet Explorer.

  2. In the address bar, type https://<DomainName>/remote, where <DomainName> is the external domain name of your organization, such as contoso.com.

If you receive an error message that says, "There is a problem with this web site’s security certificate," (see Figure 5), install the security certificate that is issued by the server on your computer. For instructions about how to install the certificate on your computer, see Install the security certificate that is issued by the server on a remote computer.
