To access files on your computer that are in redirected folders

  1. On the client computer, click Start.

  2. In the Search box, type \\<ServerName>\RedirectedFolders\<UserAccountName>, where <ServerName> is the name of your server, and <UserAccountName> is the name of your user account, (for example, \\contososerver\UserShares\janedow\).

Note

In order to access redirected folders, ensure that folder redirection is enabled for your user account. For instructions about how to enable folder redirection, see “Redirect user account folders to the server” at the Microsoft Web site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=144428).
