To back up a computer manually, do the following:

To back up now

  1. Open the Windows Home Server Console.

  2. Click the Computers & Backup tab.

  3. Right-click a computer, and then click Backup Now.

  4. Type a description for the backup, and then click Backup Now.

Note

You can also manually back up a computer from the Windows Home Server tray icon on a home computer. Right-click the tray icon, and then click Backup Now.
