Configuring Windows Update

You can turn Windows Update On (recommended) or Off on the General page of Windows® Home Server Settings.

Updates are additions to software that can prevent or fix problems, can enhance the security of the computer, or can improve the computer's performance.

When Windows Update is on, updates are automatically downloaded and installed during the Backup Time. If you want to install updates immediately, click Update Now.
