To cancel a backup that is in progress for a computer, do the following:

To cancel a backup

  1. Open the Windows Home Server Console.

  2. Click the Computers & Backup tab.

  3. Right-click a computer that is being backed up, and then click Cancel Backup.

Note

You can also cancel a backup from the Windows Home Server tray icon on a home computer. While a backup is in progress, right-click the tray icon, and then click View Backup Status. On the Backup Status dialog, click Cancel Backup.
