When you view the properties for a virtual drive, the type of virtual hard disk that is used by the virtual drive is indicated by using the following key:

  • 0 (the default setting) indicates a physical disk.

  • 2 indicates a fixed disk.

  • 3 indicates a dynamically expanding disk.

  • 4 indicates a differencing disk.
