How to Modify an Existing Run As Profile
Applies To: Operations Manager 2007 R2
Pre-existing Run As profiles may have been created by you using the How to Create and Configure a Custom Run As Profile procedure or they may have been created if a management pack was imported that contained one. Use this procedure to modify the properties of an existing Run As profile.
How to modify an existing Run As profile
Open the Operations console with an account that is a member of the Operations Manager 2007 Administrators role.
Select the Administration view.
In the Administration view navigation pane, select the Profiles container.
In the results pane, double-click the profile whose properties you want to edit. This opens the Run As Profile Wizard, which contains the settings that were configured previously.
On the General Properties page, you can modify the value in the Display name and Description fields.
Click Next.
On the Run As Accounts page, you can add additional Run As accounts, edit the settings of existing ones and remove Run As accounts that should no longer be associated with the Run As profile.
When you have completed your modifications, click Save.
On the Completion page, in the More-secure Run As accounts: box, you must select each account in turn and configure the distribution of the credentials for each Run As account. When you have completed configuring distribution, click Close.
