The firewall policy rule allowing HTTP/HTTPS requests for connectivity verifiers is not enabled

Cause

Connectivity verifiers specifying an HTTP GET request as the verification method can only run if a firewall policy rule allowing HTTP or HTTPS traffic from the Forefront TMG computer is available. Currently, the system policy rule created to allow this traffic is not enabled.

Solution

When you click Yes, the Allow HTTP/HTTPS requests from Forefront TMG to selected servers for connectivity verifiers system policy rule is automatically enabled. However, you must also save the changes to the configuration by clicking the Apply button.

Alternatively, perform the following steps:

  1. In the System Policy Editor, enable the HTTP Connectivity Verifiers system policy configuration group.

  2. Click Apply to update the configuration.
