Invalid DHCP Offer alert was triggered

Cause

The Invalid DHCP Offer alert was triggered, and the invalid offer packet was dropped.

Solution

Following this event, you can choose to renew DHCP-assigned IP addresses for all network adapters. If you choose to renew, the DHCP client will accept any offered address from the DHCP server.

Before deciding whether to renew, you can use IPConfig to see if there is anything unusual in IP addresses assigned to network adapters. If you do renew, check IPConfig after the renewal to make sure IP addresses are assigned as expected.
