Turn media streaming on or off

Applies To: Windows Home Server 2011

Server installation turns the media server on by default.

To turn media streaming on or off

  1. Open the server Dashboard

  2. On the Dashboard Home page, click Configure media settings.

  3. In the Media server section of the Media settings page, click Turn off or Turn on.

  4. Click Apply or OK to save your settings.
