Microsoft Dynamics ERP partners, customers, and prospective customers can use Microsoft Dynamics ERP RapidStart Services on a trial basis in order to learn how the service can help configure an ERP implementation quickly and efficiently.

Important

In the March 2014 release of Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services, support for creating and opening RapidStart Services projects for Microsoft Dynamics AX was added to the Lifecycle Services project page. You can use the online services for Microsoft Dynamics ERP website as described in the rest of this topic, or you can use Lifecycle Services instead.

To use Lifecycle Services, visit Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services.

Partners

Microsoft Dynamics Certified Partners can try RapidStart Services before they sign up their customers and prospects. Before a partner can use or enroll customers in RapidStart Services, someone from the partner organization must sign the Online Services Addendum (Schedule C) to the Solution Provider Agreement (SPA).

Customers

As a Microsoft Dynamics AX customer or prospective customer, you can try RapidStart Services for 90 days. You don’t have to install anything. All you have to do is work with a Microsoft Dynamics Certified Partner, who can give you temporary access to RapidStart Services during the 90-day evaluation period.

If you are a customer, you can continue using RapidStart Services after 90 days if your Microsoft Dynamics Certified Partner associates your account in Customer Portal with your account number in the VOICE system.

Note

Your customer organization must currently be on a Microsoft Dynamics Enhancement Plan to continue using RapidStart Services after 90 days.

Start your 90-day trial period

To start your 90-day evaluation of RapidStart Services:

  1. Your Microsoft Dynamics Certified Partner enrolls you as a prospect by following the procedure in Add a Customer administrator to a service in RapidStart Services.

  2. After you activate your account in Customer Portal at the online services website, you use the procedure in Add users and assign roles in RapidStart Services to start to use RapidStart Services.
