Remove-DhcpServerDnsCredential

Remove-DhcpServerDnsCredential

Removes the credential that the DHCP Server service uses to register or deregister client records on a DNS server.

Syntax

Parameter Set: Remove1
Remove-DhcpServerDnsCredential [-AsJob] [-CimSession <CimSession[]> ] [-ComputerName <String> ] [-PassThru] [-ThrottleLimit <Int32> ] [-Confirm] [-WhatIf] [ <CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

The Remove-DhcpServerDnsCredential cmdlet removes the credential that the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) Server service uses to register or deregister client records on a Domain Name System (DNS) server. If you remove the credentials, the DHCP Server service uses the machine account of the system that runs the DHCP server to register or deregister client records with the DNS server.

Use the Set-DhcpServerDnsCredential cmdlet to add a credential.
