(IND) Set up India taxes in Retail

Use the Charges code form to enable the calculation of taxes for customer order charges in Retail.

Note

This topic does not apply to versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 prior to cumulative update 1 for AX 2012 R2.

  1. Click Accounts receivable > Setup > Charges > Charges code.

  2. Select or create a charges code. For more information, see Create charges codes.

  3. Select the Apply India taxes to retail sales check box to enable the calculation of taxes on the charge.

  4. In the Item sales tax group field, select the item sales tax group for the charges code.

    Note

    This field is available only if you select the Apply India taxes to retail sales check box.
