Using auto-suggest in Bing or Internet Explorer Mobile

To help you find the content you want even faster, the Search and Internet Explorer applications will automatically suggest search terms and websites as you type. Auto-suggestions can come from your history or from Bing.

If you don’t want Bing to suggest search terms as you type:

  1. Go to Settings, flick to Applications, then tap Search.

  2. Clear the Get suggestions from Bing as I type check box.

If you don’t want Bing to suggest websites as you type:

  1. Go to Settings, flick to Applications, then tap Internet Explorer > Advanced settings.

  2. Clear the Get suggestions from Bing as I type check box.
