  • Add the user who will create the sales order to the list of users for the call center channel.

  • Select the Enable directed selling check box in the call center settings.

Enter a catalog source code in a sales order

To enter a source code in a sales order, follow these steps.

  1. Click Call center > Common > All sales orders. Enter customer information to create a new sales order.

  2. Ask the customer for the source code that is printed on the catalog. On the Sales order header FastTab, in the Source field, select the code from the list.

    Note

If the code has expired or has not yet been activated, it does not appear in the list.

  3. Continue to create the sales order as usual.

Note

The call center parameters can be set up so that Source is a required field. For more information, see Configuring parameters and initial settings (Call center).

Note

If free products are included in the catalog that is associated with the source code, those products are added to the order automatically when the source code is entered. For more information, see Create call center catalogs.

Next step

After you have created sales orders that include a source code, you can analyze the sales data for the source code. For more information, see Analyze source code data.
