Many enterprises will use mobile device management (MDM) software, such as System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager, to manage Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld devices. MDM capabilities can include hardware inventory, software inventory, file collection, software distribution, monitoring, and remote connections.
