Description |
---|---|
Reason for deprecation |
This feature was used very infrequently, and was difficult to set up and configure. Reports that were created by using this feature performed poorly in real-life scenarios. |
Replaced by another feature |
This feature is no longer available in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Instead, AX 2012 supports ad-hoc reporting by using OLAP cubes. Business users can also take advantage of the capabilities of Microsoft Excel PowerPivot to generate ad-hoc business reports. For more information, see Walkthrough: Creating a cube and Walkthrough: Creating a PowerPivot Data Mash-up. |
