The Audio minutes and Video minutes report in Lync Online
Topic Last Modified: 2014-09-05
The Audio minutes and video minutes report shows the duration (in minutes) of your audio peer-to-peer sessions; your video peer-to-peer sessions; and your audio/video conferences. (In Lync Online, “peer-to-peer” refers to any communication session involving just two users, while a conference refers to any session involving three or more users.) The report itself looks similar to this:
The values shown in the report are compiled by adding the duration of each session, regardless of the number of users who might have participated in those sessions. For example, suppose three users conduct an audio/video conference that lasts ten minutes. Two of those users take part in the entire conference; the third user drops out after five minutes. The total user time for that conference would be 25 minutes: 10 + 10 +5. However, on the Audio and video minutes report that conference would be listed as having taken 10 minutes, because that was the duration of the conference itself.
The audio minutes and video minutes report includes the following metrics:
Total duration (in minutes) of your peer-to-peer audio sessions.
Total duration (in minutes) of your peer-to-peer video sessions.
Audio/video conference minutes
Total duration (in minutes) of your audio/video conferences.
This report shows only the total number of minutes users spent in audio/video communication sessions. To determine the total number of sessions, use the Peer-to-peer sessions report and the Conferences report.
