How to renew your Azure Rights Management subscription
Topic Last Modified: 2014-09-24
As part of the Exchange Hosted Encryption (EHE) upgrade, you'll receive a subscription to Microsoft Azure Rights Management (Azure RMS), which ends with your existing EHE agreement. When your subscription expires, you must renew your subscription of Azure RMS to continue to use Office 365 Message Encryption.
Azure RMS can be renewed in the following ways:
Through eligible programs, including Enterprise Agreement. Azure RMS can be purchased as a standalone subscription or as part of an Enterprise CAL (ECAL) or Exchange Enterprise CAL (EECAL) with Services subscription. To renew your new Azure RMS subscription in this manner, contact a Microsoft Advisor partner or authorized representative who’ll guide you through the process. After you’ve purchased your renewal, follow the steps in Activate your Azure Rights Management subscription with volume licensing.
Directly from Microsoft via the Office 365 portal. For information about renewing your Azure RMS subscription directly from Microsoft, contact a Microsoft Advisor partner or authorized representative, or follow the steps in Renew your Azure Rights Management subscription directly from Microsoft.
