RFM validation scores and history

This topic explains how to view a customer’s Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) score and how to view the history of an RFM analysis record. The RFM score is a marketing tool that is used to score a customer on how recently they purchased products and how frequently they purchase products. You can also use the RFM score to evaluate how much money the customer typically spends. For more information about setting up RFM analysis, see Set up RFM analysis.

View a customer’s RFM score

Use this procedure to view a customer’s RFM score.

  1. Click Call center > Journals > Customer service.

  2. In the Customer service form, on the Customer service pane, in the search fields, select the keyword type to search on and enter the search text.

  3. Click Search

  4. In the Customer search form, select the customer record you want, and then click Select customer.

The RFM score is displayed in the Order history group on the right-hand side of the Customer service form.

View or clear the history of an RFM analysis record

Use this procedure to view or clear the history of an RFM analysis record.

  1. Click Call center > Periodic > RFM analysis.

  2. In the RFM analysis form, select the record that you want to view.

  3. To view the record history, click the History FastTab.

  4. To clear the history of the record, click Clear history.
